Description
The IR Flash Controller contains the batteries and electronics needed to support the IR flash extender functionality. The IR Flash Controller uses the 8240-1-1 IR Sensor Cable to detect the flash from a game camera at night. It also uses the 8240-1-2 IR Emitter to illuminate the area with 940nm IR light to improve nighttime visibility of any game camera. The Control box has two internal 18650 batteries that last for about 300 flashes. The unit can be recharged via a covert solar panel or an AC charging adapter.
NOTE: If you wish to use a commercial external IR flash, contact WilliamsRDM for an Adapter Cable. The Controller Support 12V IR illuminators/floodlights with a maximum current of 3A. When using a COTS external flash the illumination duration can be adjusted from 5s to 60s using an internal adjustment.
